Westral has adopted the policy of supplying only those products and services which have the requisite quality to merit customer satisfaction throughout the effective life of the products and services. This Policy Statement relates to compliance with the requirements of Australian Standard 3902-1987 - Quality Systems for Production and Installation.
Westral's home improvement manufacturing divisions utilise where possible state of the art product design computer technology and computer directed equipment, together with the best available machinery and hand tools. Westral's Production Managers and Supervisors are either qualified engineers, tradesman or experienced trained personnel with all production staff being skilled and trained in numerous manufacturing functions.
It is an essential requirement of this Policy for Westral to produce and supply it's customers with products and services which are suitable for their intended purpose, and which are in conformity with the relevant and previously agreed specifications or contract. Accordingly, the properties and performance of such products and services must reflect market satisfaction and demonstrate our commitment to produce a hazard-free product or service.
Each and every member of Westral is responsible for manufacturing or proving the scheduled quantity or service in the required time in accordance with the planned estimate, and also at the required quality level. Consequently, a "make it right first time" approach is the key to quality production, cost reduction, productivity and customer satisfaction.
The Policy statements made in the Quality Manual are the essence of how Westral will ensure that customer requirements are recognised and consistent control of those requirements is established, implemented and maintained. Proper adherence to the Policy as a whole is a requirement of every aspect of Westral's business.
This Policy is issued to clearly indicate the attitude of the management of Westral with regard to quality and related matters since such Policy initiated actions are essential for long term success in a competitive marketplace as well as in achieving employee satisfaction.
